the giving tree.

A nice alternative to a traditional guestbook is a "Wishing Tree"- guests write wishes for the bride and groom on a small piece of paper, then hang it on a small tree or manzanita branch in a vase.  Here are some ideas to inspire you.

  2. Question: do you have any creative bridal shower games? I am throwing a bride her 2nd shower and at the first they already played "guess what kitchen item is wrapped up" and the game where the fiance is asked questions and she has to guess his answers... I'm running out of fresh ideas :-) HELP!! (but don't write it publically on facebook I don't want her to see!!)

  4. hahaha okay here's a great bridal shower game idea!
It's a relay, and a little tongue-in-cheek, but hilarious - especially if Grandma is there hahaha : )

    1. Divide the group into two teams.
    2. Give each team a plunger.
    3. Place first team member from each team across the room from the rest of their team, who are in a single-file line
    4. Have the first team member in line place the plunger between their legs with the stick pointing outwards, while the team member across the room places the roll of toilet paper between their legs with the hole pointing outwards.
    5. Say go! The object is to place the stick inside the hole of the toilet paper without using any hands. Get ready to laugh!
    6. After the pair has managed to do it, the toilet paper holder passes off the roll, gives the plunger to the next person in line, and runs to the end of the line
    7. The first team to have given everyone in line a chance to be the "plunger" WINS!

    Hope you have a blast!
